Britse gezondheidszorg heeft moeite inkoopbesparingen te realiseren

De Britse National Health Service spendeert jaarlijks 20 miljard pond (zo'n 24 miljard euro) aan de inkoop van goederen, diensten en medicijnen. Onder het huidige efficiencyprogramma zouden daarvan zo'n 1,3 miljard pond aan inkoopbesparingen gerealiseerd moeten worden.
